‘Hamstering’ is the latest bedroom trend that’s going viral on TikTok.

Social media, especially TikTok, continues to be a breeding ground for unusual trends, and one of the latest to spark both amusement and bewilderment is known as ‘hamstering.’

This adventurous act is turning heads not just for its mechanics but for the sheer novelty of its execution

Inspired by the setup of car dates, which TikTok has already popularized, hamstering pushes boundaries further.

The term refers to a specific scenario in which a person with a manhood positions themselves on the roof of a car, exposed from the waist down through the open sunroof, while their partner inside the vehicle performs oral s**.

The name ‘hamstering’ comes from the resemblance to how a hamster drinks water through the metal spout of a bottle in its cage, a comparison that’s as vivid as it is strange.

While some TikTok users approach the trend with curiosity or humor, others joke about preparing to ‘show their partners’ how it’s done or ensuring ‘the coast is clear.’

Despite its apparent impracticality, the trend has gained traction — at least in theory.

Zachary Zane, author and s** columnist, expressed skepticism that anyone had seriously attempted this before TikTok brought it to light.

“I had never heard of this position before last week,” he admitted to Mashable.

“But I bet you a few very adventurous people are now trying it out and seeing if it’s feasible.”

According to Zane, while it might be technically doable, a lot depends on physical logistics like the height, weight, and core strength of the individual on top of the car.

S** educators and podcast hosts Amy Baldwin and April Lampert echoed this concern, pointing out that the giver may find themselves in an uncomfortable, awkward position.

“The giver will likely have to contort their body and their neck in a way that may be really uncomfortable and unsustainable,” they said.

Breaks might be necessary before the act could be completed, making it less about physical pleasure and more about the novelty.

In truth, hamstering seems less like a s**ual revolution and more like a TikTok dare, something people do not necessarily do for gratification but for the thrill of the story.

As Zane put it: “These people aren’t likely trying it because it’s pleasurable… It’s more to say that they’ve done it.”

Still, even Baldwin and Lampert agree that if approached playfully, the act could add an element of fun and experimentation to one’s s** life.

“S** is intended to be fun,” they noted, adding that trying new things, even if they’re logistically difficult, can bring excitement.
