Little House on the Prairie had its share of bloopers, despite its wholesome image. Laura’s pregnancy in season seven lasts far longer than it should, and Nellie’s iconic curls were a wig.
In a funny mix-up, Colonel Sanders appears in a season eight episode, even though he wasn’t born until 1890, and KFC didn’t exist until the 1950s. The show also features anachronistic fashion, like Caroline’s bra (which wasn’t invented yet) and modern perms.
Other slip-ups include a dummy in a fight scene, missing winter coats in freezing weather, and a traveling quilt that appears in different locations. There was even a near-accident while filming a wagon scene with Dean Butler!
Despite these errors, Little House remains a beloved classic.
