A Russian general has issued a chilling WW3 warning to the UK, suggesting that we are their ‘number one target’.
It’s really not what you want to read on a rare sunny afternoon, but Major-General Nikolay Plotnikov appears to have taken aim at Britain on Russian state TV.
If there was a WW3 scenario, Plotnikov says prime ministers, past and present, are to blame for provoking a Russian response.
He has accused the UK and France of sharing data with Russia’s opposition. And with the war in Ukraine raging on, the general has alleged that the two countries were involved with the drone strikes on Russia last week.
Plotnikov has claimed the missile and drone attacks were successfully carried out by Ukraine because the UK was supplying data to them.

“The British are inputting data into [Ukraine’s] missile control units,” he said.
“This tandem [Britain and France] is responsible for the massive drone strike on Russia on May 7.”
Plotnikov said Russia’s interception of 524 drones was not enough as others managed to evade air space.
Meanwhile, Russian law enforcement has reportedly opened criminal cases against past and present UK prime ministers such as Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer.
“That’s why there are already so many criminal cases piling up against Macron and all the UK Prime Ministers,” the Vladimir Putin propagandist added.
“They should all be put in the dock. And Liz Truss. And that shaggy-haired….[Boris] Johnson and all the rest of them.
“Because what the British and French intelligence services and military are doing has caused a lot of damage to our people, a lot of people have died.”
And when TV host Vladimir Solovyov asked about a potential strike on Britain, the general added: “It will be possible to do that. The time will come, I think the time will come, yes.”
It comes after Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he will be waiting for Putin in Turkey for face-to-face talks this week.
While Putin hasn’t confirmed publicly if he will attend, Zelenskyy hopes, if he does, to ‘do everything to agree on a ceasefire’.
“If Putin does not arrive and plays games, it is the final point that he does not want to end the war,” he told reporters.
President Donald Trump, who is currently out in the Middle East, has also been urged to attend the meeting to ‘give an additional push for Putin to fly in’.
“He’d like me to be there, and that’s a possibility… I don’t know that he would be there if I’m not there. We’re going to find out,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One while traveling to Qatar, according to Reuters.
Andrii Yermak, the head of Ukraine’s presidential office, claims ‘Ukraine is ready for any format of negotiations with Russia, but a ceasefire must come first’.
